EFA selects Refinitiv as primary data source for securities operations

The European Fund Administration (EFA) has selected Refinitiv, a provider of financial markets data and infrastructure, as its primary data source for securities operations.

EFA is an independent company servicing investment funds, unit-linked insurance products, private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds and funds of hedge funds

Refinitiv will become EFA's primary data source for pricing, reference data and corporate actions.

In addition to improving data flows, the collaboration provides EFA's analysts with new
tools.

The partnership reinforces and expands the long-standing relationship between EFA and Refinitiv.

Gary Janaway, chief operating officer at EFA, comments: "Data is the core of our operations and we are delighted to announce this collaboration with Refinitiv. This is perfectly in line with EFA's continuous improvement and enables our analyst teams to make the most of their expertise."

Refinitiv currently serves approximately 40,000 institutions in 190 countries and provides information, insights and technology that drive innovation and performance in global financial
markets.

Elsewhere, EFA has recently joined the United Nations Global Compact Initiative, one of the largest corporate sustainability initiatives in the world.
